Blue Ridge Carolina Club Family,
We are so excited for the 2021-2022 season of Carolina Athletics! It has been far too long since we have been able to take in some UNC games with our Blue Ridge Carolina Club, and we’re really looking forward to cheering on all of our Carolina athletes all season long.
Club leaders will be out of town both this weekend and next so there will be no game watches for the first 2 weeks, however we want to utilize this time to gauge everyone’s interest in upcoming, in person events. We want to know what you are all comfortable with this fall, what you’d like to do as a club, and also any ideas for a good game watch location. As some club veterans know, since Nantahala closed, we bounced around a little for the 2019-2020 season and while we had some great game watches and events, we’d love to have a permanent spot. As per GAA guidelines and CDC recommendations, we’d also like to find a spot with either an outdoor option or lots of ventilation (like garage doors that open etc.). As we all try to navigate the latest situation regarding COVID, we want you all to know that your health and safety are our top concerns. We have included the survey below with some questions that will help us plan events and game watches moving forward. Your responses are very important to us, and we plan to collect all responses by Saturday, September 11th.
